1000 Islands: Boat Ride

If you only have time for one activity in the 1000 Islands, you MUST get out on the water and take a boat ride.

You can bring your own boat, book a Castle Tour and enjoy the ride along the way, or stop by the Antique Boat Museum to see the exhibits then book a ride on one of their antique wooden boats.

During my visit I had the pleasure of cruising around the 1000 Islands in Gadfly. Built in 1931 in nearby Alexandria Bay, Gadfly spent some time in Michigan then joined the Museum collection in 1994. She was restored in 2014.
